The Greensols Process

The greensols process is the brian child of Stephen Blake and Prof Chris Cuff and is owned by an Australian company Greensols Pty. Ltd. located in Cairns.

The greensols process is a breakthrough science described by for example WO2007003013A1[1] and EP20060752673 which is one of many patent applications by the inventors that describe a process that provides a cheap way of utilising cations in seawater to produce carbonates with a bi product that is essentially fresh water.

The process is essentially highly statistical and involves precipitation of carbonates utilising waste acid
